Understanding how a garment is actually made helps you brief a factory, read a quote, and spot where quality is won or lost. This guide walks through the full manufacturing process the way it happens on our floor.
From your approved tech pack to a packed carton, here is every stage your order passes through.
1. Tech pack & costing
Everything starts with the tech pack. The factory reviews it, sources fabric and trims, and returns a costing based on materials, construction, decoration and quantity.
2. Fabric & sampling
Fabric is knitted/woven and dyed (or pulled from stock), then a first sample is made to confirm fit, hand-feel and colour. Revisions are made until the sample is approved — your green light for bulk.
3. Cutting
Approved fabric is spread in layers and cut using computerised markers for efficiency and accuracy, so every panel matches the pattern and waste is minimised.
4. Sewing
Cut panels move to the sewing lines, where skilled operators assemble the garment in a sequence of specialised steps, with line supervisors checking quality as it builds.
5. Decoration
Printing, embroidery and other decoration are applied — screen print, sublimation, DTG, or multi-head embroidery — with techniques tested on the actual fabric beforehand.
6. Quality control, finishing & shipping
Garments pass inline and final AQL inspection for measurements, seams and finish, then are pressed, tagged, folded and retail-packed. Finished cartons ship — DDP, with duties paid and customs cleared.
