About cotton-spandex jersey
Cotton-spandex jersey adds a small percentage of elastane to soft cotton, giving fitted tees, tops and dresses comfortable stretch and the recovery that keeps them looking sharp.
It is the fabric of choice when you want the natural feel and breathability of cotton, but with the shape-retaining stretch that body-skimming fits require.

Cotton-Spandex Jersey — common questions
What fabric is best for fitted t-shirts?
Cotton-spandex jersey (around 95/5) gives soft cotton comfort with the stretch and recovery needed for a clean fitted look.
How much spandex should a stretch tee have?
3–5% spandex gives comfort stretch; 5–8% gives a more body-hugging, sculpted fit. We advise based on your style.
Does cotton-spandex lose shape over time?
Quality elastane recovers well; we use grade-A yarn and correct construction so garments keep their fit wash after wash.
